Qua mi conoscono tutti bene.
Josephine, quella che viene chiamata per ogni emergenza, per gli animali in difficoltà di qualunque specie.
Non ho mai detto di no.
Ho accolto, salvato, sistemato tante creature.
Spesso chi mi ha messo fra le mani animali malati, feriti o semplicemente bisognosi si è limitato a questo, senza preoccuparsi delle spese che avrei dovuto affrontare.
Eppure l'ho fatto ugualmente.
Mi sono indebitata con i veterinari, ho comprato a credito il cibo, ho persino chiesto dei prestiti alla banca per poter mettere in sicurezza degli spazi dove tenere i miei animali.
I miei fratelli che ho salvato.
Adesso però sono in difficoltà.
Ho avuto una bambina e anche il mio tempo è ridotto.
Incluso quello da trascorrere su Facebook a cercare aiuto.
Apro questa raccolta perché sono veramente alla frutta.
Mi serve di tutto.
Cibo, innanzitutto, per cani e gatti adulti e anziani. Devo affrontare dei lavori di ristrutturazione dello spazio in sicurezza per cani e gatti, perché le tettoie sono invecchiate e con la pioggia ci saranno perdite d'acqua nei box.
Servono anche casette o cucce da esterno, lettiere, ciotole, sabbietta, copertine, farmaci veterinari di uso comune come antibiotici e pomate.

Hello fellow animal lovers! I'm Josephine. In Oristano (Sardinia) and surrounding area i am well known animal right campaigner (or massive pain in the butt, depending who you ask...), and called day and night to help when there's one in troubles, no matter if cat, dog, horse, donkey, sheep or pig. I've never turned down anyone.
I've rescued, hosted and found a home to many, many big and small creatures.
Often, who brought me wounded, sick or simply lost animals did it without worrying about the expenses i had to take charge of. But i've done it anyway. I have accumulated debts with vets, i've bought pet food on credit, i have asked loans to my bank to afford a space to build 2 shelters, one for cats (52 at the moment, many with disabilities and/or missing bits...) and one for dog (10).
Unfortunately, while there are a few fellow animal lovers in the area, lots of people in Sardinia, especially of older generations, have a terrible attitude towards pets. There are lots of strays, most owners do not sterilize neither cats or dogs, and abandonment, of both old and newborn, is the norm.
Now the beautiful souls that i'm keeping away from the streets are in a difficult situation. I have recently become the mother of a wonderful girl, and my time has consequently shrunk. Included what i use to spend on Facebook asking for help.
I have started this campaign because i can't keep all this up anymore. We are in need of everything: food especially, for both cats and dogs. Some parts of the shelters need urgent work, especially the roofs. We also need kennels, blankets, medicines, food bowls, litter.
Any help, no matter how small, will be immensely appreciated.
By the way, i always post on my Facebook page the receipts, so you can double check that i don't keep a penny for myself.
