Ciao, siamo Vivi gli Animali , per chi non ci conoscesse siamo un'associazione di volontariato che opera a Collegno, una cittadina a pochi km da Torino. Più precisamente siamo un Rifugio permanente per animali, chiamati anche santuari.

Dal 2012, anno della fondazione ad oggi, abbiamo salvato e accudito più di 100 animali, quegli animali definiti da reddito. Ad oggi ospitiamo 11 bovini, 5 cavalli, 5 maiali, 1 cinghiale, 9 asini, 2 conigli, 19 pecore, 13 capre e 12 galline.

Tutti questi animali arrivano da situazioni di estremo disagio come allevamenti abusivi, maltrattamenti, abbandoni. Il nostro ruolo, la nostra missione quindi, è quella di ospitarli e dar loro la possibilità di vivere serenamente fornendo tutto ciò di cui hanno bisogno.

Gestire una gran quantità di animali ti richiede di avere anche un mezzo idoneo per compiere una serie di operazioni come spostare il fieno all'interno della proprietà, mettere la balla dentro le mangiatoie, scaricare il letame, utilizzare qualche accessorio agricolo per migliorare e sistemare il suolo. Per questo motivo stavamo valutando l'acquisto di un trattore, ovviamente usato che possa rispondere alle nostre esigenze.

Ne abbiamo visti alcuni abbastanza interessanti e la spesa solo per l'acquisto è di circa 12mila euro.

Il trattore che abbiamo noi, da voi soprannominato Cricchetto, inizia a manifestare i segni del tempo (è del 69!!!!!). E' spesso fermo e dobbiamo chiamare il meccanico per capire il problema. Inoltre andrebbero eseguiti dei lavori di manutenzione ma la spesa è eccessivamente alta e non è giustificata per un mezzo di quel valore...perde olio dal cambio, dal sollevatore, alcuni manicotti sono da cambiare, si è rotto più volte il radiatore, servirebbe il servosterzo e altri lavori più piccoli.

Ovviamente avere un mezzo più recente e performante per noi sarebbe un gran passo avanti che ci permetterebbe di risparmiare soldi nelle costanti riparazioni e ci renderebbe anche indipendenti per una serie di lavori che facciamo nei nostri terreni come ad esempio la strigliatura, lo spargimento del letame e varie ed eventuali.

Hi, we are Vivi gli Animali, for those who don't know us we are a voluntary association that operates in Collegno, a town a few km from Turin. More precisely we are a permanent refuge for animals, also called sanctuaries.

From 2012, the year of the foundation to today, we have saved and cared for more than 100 animals, those animals defined as income animals. Today we host 11 cattle, 5 horses, 5 pigs, 1 wild boar, 9 donkeys, 2 rabbits, 19 sheep, 13 goats and 12 chickens.

All these animals come from extremely uncomfortable situations such as abusive breeding, mistreatment, abandonment. Our role, our mission therefore, is to host them and give them the opportunity to live peacefully by providing everything they need.

Managing a large quantity of animals also requires you to have a suitable means to carry out a series of operations such as moving the hay within the property, putting the bale into the mangers, unloading the manure, using some agricultural accessories to improve and arrange the soil. For this reason we were considering purchasing a tractor, obviously a used one that could meet our needs.

We have seen some quite interesting ones and the cost just for the purchase is around 12 thousand euros.

The tractor we have, nicknamed Mater by you, is starting to show the signs of aging (it's from '69!!!!!). It is often stopped and we have to call the mechanic to understand the problem. Furthermore, some maintenance work should be carried out but the expense is excessively high and is not justified for a vehicle of that value... oil is leaking from the gearbox, from the lift, some hoses need to be changed, the radiator has broken several times, the power steering and other smaller jobs.

Obviously having a more recent and high-performance vehicle would be a great step forward for us which would allow us to save money in constant repairs and would also make us independent for a series of jobs we do on our land such as grooming, spreading manure and various and possible.
