Hi there, how are you? I am Giuliana Inturrisi and 10 years ago I started working for my dream. I am from Italy (Sicily) and I left home at 18 years old to study Criminology in Madrid. There, I did my Bachelor at the University Rey Juan Carlos (with a scholarship) and I finished in 3,5 years instead of 4. In the meantime and after that, I did several volunteer projects on gender equality and environmental issues in Peru and Poland supported by European organisations. Last year, I moved to the Netherlands in a pandemic situation to do my master in Global Criminology at Utrecht University. It was enterely online, but I learnt a lot regarding transnational and cross-border crimes. Finally, I got an internship in United Nations in Nairobi for the Global Maritime Crime Programme. Does it sound as a dream, doesn't it? Well... it is unpaid for 6 months! Do you want to contribute for my criminological career and indirectly make the world a better place? I am really involved in social and cultural issues and my life is meant to help people: if you help me, you are helping all.
