Un sorriso per Ivan

Ciao a tutti, sono Monica la mamma di Ivan, e voglio raccontare la sua storia.

Ivan frequenta il quarto anno del Liceo Scientifico di Savona.

Il 19 settembre 2023, mentre torna a casa da scuola, scivola e cade con il suo scooter. Apparentemente una caduta banale, nulla di rotto, solo una sbucciatura ed un grosso spavento e infatti in ospedale ci dicono che è tutto ok dopo qualche esame di rito.

Il 30 settembre 2023 però tutto si trasforma in una vera tragedia perché Ivan si accascia a terra in arresto cardiaco mentre sta entrando in ospedale per una semplice visita di controllo.

Dopo un mese e mezzo in rianimazione tra disperazione ed incertezze, viene dimesso dall'ospedale e trasferito in un centro neuroriabilitativo, perché purtroppo il suo cuore è stato fermo per troppo tempo e la mancata ossigenazione ha generato un danno cerebrale molto importante.

Ivan è forte e dal suo letto combatte contro tutte le avversità per continuare a vivere, ma sono tanti i sogni infranti ed infinite le sfide che dovrà affrontare giorno per giorno.

Noi tutti abbiamo il dovere morale di fare qualcosa per restituirgli un pezzetto di quella vita che ogni ragazzo della sua età dovrebbe poter vivere con dignità.

In collaborazione con i medici che lo stanno curando abbiamo individuato Hochzirl in Austria che è un centro di eccellenza per le cure neuroriabilitative e lì Ivan potrebbe avere la possibilità di tornare a sorridere e non rimanere intrappolato nel suo corpo.

Ma i centri per la riabilitazione richiedono ingenti somme di denaro, cifre impossibili da raggiungere per me da sola. Ed è per questo che, con il cuore colmo di speranza, vi chiedo di sostenermi affinché Ivan possa ricevere tutte le cure necessarie. Il vostro contributo conta molto per noi, per me ed Ivan, indipendentemente dall'importo della cifra che riuscirete a donare, perché anche la più piccola donazione può fare la differenza.

Hi everyone, I'm Monica, Ivan's mother, and I want to tell his story. Ivan is a 17 year old boy and attends the fourth year of the Savona ( ITALY) Scientific High School. On September 19, 2023, while walking home from school, he slips and falls on his scooter. Apparently a trivial fall, nothing broken, just a graze and a big scare and in fact in the hospital they tell us that everything is ok after some routine tests. On September 30, 2023, however, everything turns into a real tragedy because due to a massive pulmonary embolism, Ivan collapses to the ground in cardiac arrest while he is entering the hospital for a simple check-up. After a month and a half in intensive care, he was discharged from the hospital and transferred to a neurorehabilitation centre, because unfortunately his heart had been stopped for too long and the lack of oxygenation had caused very significant brain damage. Ivan is strong and from his bed he fights against all adversities to continue living, but there are many broken dreams and infinite challenges that he will have to face day by day. We all have a moral duty to do something to give him back a piece of that life that every boy his age should be able to live with dignity. In collaboration with the doctors who are treating him, we have identified Hochzirl in Austria, a center of excellence for neurorehabilitative care and there Ivan could have the chance to smile again and not remain trapped in his body. However, rehabilitation centers and future medical expenses will require large sums of money, figures that are impossible for me to reach alone. This is why, with a heart full of hope, I ask you to support me financially so that Ivan can receive their care.
