Joseph Villalpando's Recovery

Just two weeks after Joseph's 36th Birthday he was diagnosed with colon cancer. After several months of testing and medical care, Joseph was told that he would have to undergo potentially life-saving surgery to try and treat and remove all cancer from his body.

On February 20th, he underwent surgery to resect 2ft of the intestine and 15 lymph nodes which was a success until 7 days later Joseph developed a large hematoma where he had to undergo a second surgery. After 11 days of being admitted, he is home recovering now. By the grace of God and all the prayers, he was told he is cancer free but will require follow-ups for the next 5 years. His home recovery has been anything but easy but with family alongside he's getting better by the week.

As you may know, Joseph just began his real estate career in 2021 so paying for private insurance with partial medical coverage has impacted their finances immensely. Since his diagnosis, his ability to work has been very limited due to doctor appointments and his physical state.
