Let’s Help Hilmar Fight for Her Life!!

This is Hilmar Pérez, a brave 43-year-old woman, mother to a 15-year-old teenager, and a Venezuelan migrant who has faced life with admirable strength.

In 2017, seeking a better future for her son, Hilmar migrated to Peru, fleeing the political and economic crisis in Venezuela. However, in 2023, her life took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She underwent aggressive chemotherapy and a radical surgery to remove the tumor, which also involved the removal of one of her breasts.

Despite the challenges, Hilmar didn’t give up. In search of new opportunities for herself and her son, they moved to the United States. Unfortunately, shortly after arriving, her health condition worsened, and she was recently diagnosed with metastatic carcinoma in her bones, involving the spine, and with significant lesions in her liver and lungs.

Today, Hilmar is unable to work and is facing a tough battle—not only for her health, but also to cover the high costs of her treatments. She urgently needs to start chemotherapy and radiotherapy, which is why, as a family, we come to you with our hearts in our hands.

Ayudemos a Hilmar a luchar por su vida!!

Ella es Hilmar Pérez, una mujer valiente de 43 años, madre de un adolescente de 15, y migrante venezolana que ha enfrentado la vida con una fuerza admirable.

En 2017, buscando un mejor futuro para su hijo, Hilmar migró a Perú huyendo de la crisis política y económica de Venezuela. Sin embargo, en 2023 su vida dio un giro inesperado al ser diagnosticada con cáncer de mama estadio 3. Fue sometida a un tratamiento de quimioterapia agresivo y a una cirugía radical para extirpar el tumor, en la que también le fue removido un seno.

A pesar de los desafíos, Hilmar no se rindió. En busca de nuevas oportunidades para ella y su hijo, se trasladaron a Estados Unidos. Lamentablemente, al poco tiempo de llegar su condición de salud se agravo, y recientemente fue diagnosticada con carcinoma metastásico en huesos que involucra columna vertebral y lesiones significativas en hígado y pulmón.

Hoy, Hilmar no puede trabajar y enfrenta una batalla dura, no solo por su salud, sino también por cubrir los elevados costos de sus tratamientos. Necesita iniciar tratamiento de quimioterapia y radioterapia con urgencia, y es por eso que, como familia, acudimos a ti con el corazón en la mano.
