Unaiah Medical Expenses

My niece Unai'ah Ball, at the age of 13, unexpectedly suffered an aneurysm on July 5 2019 which caused her to pass out in front of the Bermuda hospital and become unresponsive. She was immediately flown out to Bostons Children Hospital where she is currently receiving the best possible care.  She is definitely a fighter and is proving to us that she is holding strong and fighting to make it. While in Boston, it was discovered that Unai'ah was born with a brain artery/blood malformation, which means some of the veins in the back of her head are tangled, and recently they have began to bleed out into her brain, which caused her to lose consciousness.  She has since had to undergo numerous surgeries to relieve the fluid build up and ease the bleeding in her head which would allow the surgeons better access to the affected veins.  They were able to control most of the fluid but still are not able to operate on the necessary veins to permanently stop the bleeding into her brain due to their fragile and swollen condition. 
Once the veins in the back of her head return to normal they will try safely operate on them to untangle or block the affected veins.
This means that Unai'ah will have to stay in Boston Childrens hospital until she has recovered and is deemed fit to return home to Bermuda. 
With her parents permission the godparents and I decided to set up this account to help out with the medical expenses that are sure to be incurred. All of this has understandably had a major affect on Unai'ah as well as her parents and family physically, emotionally and financially. The donations would ensure that Unai'ah is able to continue to receive the urgent care and treatment needs. The treatment she has had so far has been nothing but amazing and has meant that she did not suffer any lasting brain damage and with the continued efforts of the childrens hospital, She continues to fight hard and be her playful loving self.

Unfortunately Unaiah doesn't have any insurance therefore her family and friends are rallying around to make sure all her medical expenses are fully covered.

A huge thank you to all those that have already supported, especially the LCCA whom have agreed to cover all medical expenses for Unaiah while receiving treatment overseas. The funds raised on this gofundme page will reimburse the LCCA along with a few small events held by friends and family  specifically for Unaiahs medical expenses. The friends and family of Unaiah appreciate the tremendous amount of support she is receiving.

To our donors and supporters a very good friend of the family Margaret Collins has accepted the task of managing the page and funds for us. We are busy indviduals trying to make sure things will be straight for Unai'ah and her mom upon their return and also while they are in Boston. She will withdraw the funds into her personal account and then transfer to my account which I will them transfer to the LCCA for repayment.
