"Un'Amore che Lotta: La Storia di Federico"

Cara amica, caro amico,

mi chiamo Patrizia e sono la mamma di Federico, un bimbo di 7 anni pieno di vita e di energia. La nostra storia è iniziata con una gravidanza che, a causa di un'imprevista complicazione, ha portato Federico a subire un'asfissia alla nascita. Da quel giorno, tutto è cambiato. Ma nonostante la difficoltà del momento, da quel giorno ho imparato che la forza di un genitore e la determinazione di un bambino possono superare ogni barriera.

Vedere Federico lottare per ogni piccolo progresso mi ha insegnato che la diagnosi non è il nostro destino, e che insieme possiamo affrontare qualsiasi sfida. In questi anni, siamo riusciti a trovare terapie che hanno portato miglioramenti concreti, ma la vera felicità per Federico è vivere come ogni altro bambino. Ogni piccolo passo in avanti è un trionfo, e il suo sorriso è la motivazione che ci spinge a fare sempre di più.

Nonostante le difficoltà, abbiamo sempre cercato di dargli la possibilità di vivere una vita il più normale possibile. Per esempio, ho imparato a usare attrezzi e strumenti per modificare i suoi giocattoli e adattarli alle sue necessità, così che potesse godere delle stesse esperienze degli altri bambini. Oggi, però, Federico cresce, e le sue esigenze cambiano. Il piccolo rimorchio per la bici che avevamo non è più adatto, e Federico continua ad amare la bici, la montagna, il mare. Per questo motivo, abbiamo scoperto che esistono rimorchi per bambini più grandi, e anche per adulti, che gli permetteranno di continuare a divertirsi in sicurezza e comodità.

In casa, ho allestito una stanza dedicata alla ginnastica terapeutica, ma ora desideriamo dotarci della Gabbia Rocher Gace e degli accessori terapeutici, che ci permetterebbero di continuare la terapia anche a casa, con maggiore facilità e costanza.

Un altro sogno che nutriamo da tempo è quello di poter viaggiare e spostarci con Federico in modo comodo e sicuro. L'acquisto di un'auto attrezzata è un passo fondamentale per noi, perché ci permetterebbe di trasportarlo senza difficoltà durante i suoi spostamenti per le terapie o quando vogliamo fare una gita insieme. Un'auto attrezzata ci permetterebbe di vivere con maggiore indipendenza, rendendo più semplici anche i momenti di svago, come andare in bicicletta, al mare o in montagna.

My name is Patrizia, and I am the mother of Federico, a 7-year-old boy full of life and energy. Our story began with a pregnancy that, due to an unforeseen complication, led to Federico suffering from asphyxia at birth. From that day, everything changed. But despite the difficulty of the moment, I learned that the strength of a parent and the determination of a child can overcome any barrier.

Seeing Federico fight for every small progress taught me that the diagnosis is not our destiny, and that together we can face any challenge. Over the years, we have been able to find therapies that brought real improvements, but Federico’s true happiness is living like any other child. Every small step forward is a triumph, and his smile is the motivation that pushes us to do more and more.

Despite the difficulties, we have always tried to give him the chance to live a life as normal as possible. For example, I learned to use tools and equipment to modify his toys and adapt them to his needs, so he could enjoy the same experiences as other children. Today, however, Federico is growing, and his needs are changing. The small bike trailer we had is no longer suitable, and Federico continues to love biking, the mountains, and the sea. For this reason, we discovered that there are trailers for older children and even adults, which will allow him to continue having fun safely and comfortably.

At home, I set up a room dedicated to therapeutic gymnastics, but now we wish to acquire the Rocher Gace Cage and therapeutic accessories, which would allow us to continue therapy at home with greater ease and consistency.

Another dream we’ve had for a long time is to be able to travel and move around with Federico comfortably and safely. Purchasing an adapted car is a crucial step for us, as it would allow us to transport him easily during his therapy appointments or when we want to go on a trip together. An adapted car would allow us to live more independently, making even recreational activities, such as biking, going to the sea, or hiking, much easier.
