Help Support Uncle Erik: Cancer Journey

First and foremost, I'd like to thank everyone who donated to the Go Fund Me I made for Erik last year. The amount raised was such a big help with all of the expenses! Though Erik made great progress last year, his bile duct cancer has returned, and he'll be needing more treatment. The cancer is a reoccurrence and has now spread to his stomach lining. The doctors are trying their best to stabilize it with medications, but it is now considered terminal. As of now, we need to raise some money for bills and his living expenses while undergoing treatment, as well as for a trip from Canada to Florida to see family. He's expected to be treated for the next 5 months, including 14 sessions of chemotherapy.

For those unfamiliar: My Uncle Erik has been diagnosed with bile duct cancer (Klatskin tumor). Tumors of this type are not often discovered until they have reached an advanced stage, and thus the survival rate is quite low, approximately 25%.
