Under One Sky - River Thames Charity Hike

Hello,

My name is Shelley and I am hiking the River Thames from its source in the Cotswold's to the sea with my mother Dorothy. We will be following the Thames Path, which is National Trust trail stretching 375kms from the source to our finishing point at the Isle of Grain in Kent.

We are raising funds for Under One Sky, a London-based homeless charity which I volunteer with. Their commitment to not just serving our homeless friends in relation to everyday needs but also working to provide longer term solutions to help them to help themselves get off the streets is truly inspirational.

I invite you to join us on our journey as we explore the winding river of life, whilst taking one step closer to ending homelessness. After all, we are all Under One Sky together...

More information about Under One Sky CIO: Our mission is to work with others to end homelessness. For us this means supporting those affected to move from surviving to thriving in life, not simply putting a roof over somebody’s head. Our main activity is outreach in the UK where our teams walk the streets to connect with our homeless friends and provide life essentials, practical help and befriending. Through our work we also aim to expand the public’s understanding of the root causes and the human reality of homelessness.
