Underground Railroad Town Clock Church

Please join us as the Friends of the Town Clock Church  raises funds to install a security system to protect the building and Underground Railroad Gardens.  After getting bids, we have increased the fundraising total to be able to purchase this needed equipment to avoid future vandalism.

After the sculpture of Lucy Higgs Nichols was vandalized, we need to purchase a security system for the historic Underground Railroad Church and Gardens.   Lucy, an enslaved Freedom Seeker, settled in New Albany after the Civil War. Her dedication as a nurse to our Indiana 23rd Regiment after she escaped enslavement is an inspiration. Any donation will help make an impact.
