I'm a single dad with three young kids navigating a financial emergency. Over the past two months, since gaining custody of my three children, I've been unable to travel for work and in midwinter--the slow season for ocean science, like for many other professions--and that's led to no work at all. No one is deathly ill, no one is in the hospital. We're a loving family of four and I simply want to keep my kids fed and housed. I'm asking for your help so I can do my job as a dad, and feed and protect my kids.
