Unexpected death of Amanda Jeanty

Donation protected

I am creating this GoFund me on behalf of Amanda's family. I don't even know where to begin with Amanda. Amanda and I attended Syracuse University together and through the years I've known Amanda, she was a sister, best friend and an angel sent from God. Throughout her entire life, Amanda was always striving to help others no matter the cost.

After college, she moved back in with her mother and younger brother as she decided to work as a pharmacy technician while helping around the house. She had plans to pay off her student loans, help her family around and then wanted to pursue her dreams of going to graduate school in order to become a nurse practitioner like her mother.  She always saw the glass half full, instead of it being empty.  She always forgave people and gave them the benefit of the doubt, no matter the circumstance. She never wanted to trouble anybody, so she always tried to keep her worries and troubles to herself.

For those of you who were not fortunate enough to know Amanda, she was the type of person who you could always rely on no matter what difficulties she had going on in her life.  She had such an innocent, kind soul, always putting others before herself, and most importantly was selfless.

About a year ago, Amanda had fainted a few times where her heart stopped working and she was immediately hospitalized. She had been seeing a doctor in Boston to figure out what the issue was and had completed all these tests and regular checkups. However, God had decided it was time for her and that he had his angel return back home to him.

There will never be anyone like her and I'm so devastated at her unexpected death of heart failure at the young age of 24.

Amanda is survived by her mother, younger brother and younger sister, who are just about to start college. With these donation funds, I plan on helping the mother cover Amanda's medical bills that Amanda had accumulated within the past year, help pay for her younger siblings college expenses, help her mother plan a funeral/memorial and to most importantly help the family get some sort of help and guidance as to a normal life without Amanda. I would like these funds to help them get through their difficulties for the next few months to a year. Amanda's mother is an essential worker as a nurse and has asthma issues so I can only imagine how tough it must be for her mother and siblings to navigate this new world with the loss of Amanda, her eldest daughter.

I know many people are experiencing hardships during this time, but any support will be appreciated. I honestly have never had a better friend and I strive to be like Amanda everyday. Words will do no justice to how great of a person she was.

I plan on giving full donations to Amanda's mother after this fundraiser is closed. Even though Amanda is no longer on earth, I'm sure she would have continued to help her family and others as always and giving back to the family is just a small token of appreciation.

No one expects a tragedy like this, especially at such a young age. Again, thank you for your time and I am truly blessed to have known Amanda and hopefully you all get to have the opportunity to know someone like Amanda in your life.
