Unexpected death of Lee Weber

Hello, my name is Krystle. My husband, Justin and I are putting together this go fund me for my cousin Amber and her two boys, Alex and Jacob.

My husband Justin and I started dating over fifteen years ago.

Justin, his cousin Lee , and I 15 years ago went out for St. Patrick’s day to Station Square right when we first starting dating. Amber was working at Station Square at the time, and we stopped to visit her. Lee and Amber hit it off right then and there. They got married in December of 2009. We always laughed and talked about how awesome it was that two cousins married two cousins. Justin and Lee grew up very close, as Amber and I did.

Over this past weekend Lee, Justin and I, all of our kids and other family members went up toLake Erie. Tragically, Lee was caught in the water tides of Lake Erie and he drowned while bravely getting his son to safety.

Justin repeatedly swam and searched for Lee in that area, but could not find him.

About an hour later with the help of first responders and the Coast Guard, Lees body was found.

With all of the emotional pain and stress that a death brings, it also brings financial burdens. We are trying to raise money for Amber and her two sons to help with any costs that will incur and to help wherever needed.

He worked hard to support his family and wanted his wife and children to have the best of everything. Amber and the boys were the loves of his life.

Lee was an army veteran, and also a firefighter for the city of Pittsburgh.

We all lost a great man.

He was amazing father to Alex and Jacob, and a wonderful husband to Amber.

He will be missed by all of his friends and family.

As gut-wrenching as this is, he would want us to continue to live, laugh, and love, they way he did.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed, and will be posted once all final arrangements have been made.
