Hi! My name is Jeni Mizzell. As many of you know, my sister-in-law recently went to her Heavenly home on May 26, 2018. To describe Mandy briefly would be to tell you she was a person full of love - love for family, friends, and Jesus - and full of life. From the outside looking in, one would almost think she loved people to a fault (if that’s even possible). Mandy always wanted to see the best in others... even in those who possibly failed to recognize the best in her.
Backstory/Purpose of Campaign
Mandy was celebrating her 39th birthday on the night she drowned at Lake Ray Hubbard. Although details are still unfolding, the purpose of this page is to raise funds to help cover funeral/burial costs... as well as any outstanding needs that her children may have (ages 15 and 10). At the time of this initial post, I do not have a firm figure as to what is needed... as our loss is fresh... and arrangements have yet to be made. I estimate a sum of at least $10,000 to cover the aforementioned.
Final Thought
Mandy would have likely given her last dime to help someone in need... and as a single mother of two, Mandy worked hard to care for her kids. Now, in her stead, I’m asking the community to rally together and help give her the proper burial she deserves and to make sure the needs of her children are covered during this transitional period.
