Open Heart Surgery for Baby Genesis

Hello my name is Darla Johnston and I’m raising money to help my daughter and grandaughter. Doctors noticed Genesis had 2 valves that were restricting blood. On Dec 14 they went in with a camera and a balloon to try to enlarge the valve and increase blood flow. The procedure failed and now she needs to go in for open heart surgery within the next 1-3 months. She is 8 months old and only weighs 13 lbs. She is struggling to gain weight which she desperately needs for the surgery. It gives her a better survival rate. First, we are asking for your prayers because we believe that God is in complete control and we are fully trusting him with Genesis. We are also asking for any help you can give to help with the extra expenses she has had and will continue to have through this process of doctors visits, traveling to the hospital, time off work, gas, extra food expenses and other unknowns. We are also trusting God to meet her family’s needs financially. We serve a big God and all things are possible.
