Unexpected funeral & Medical expenses

Hello, Myself ( Troy) and Jean who have known the Hamiltons our whole life have created this fundraiser in hopes to help out a long-time friend and native of our hometown, Mike Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton who's been a resident of Galena for over 70 years unexpectedly had to bury his son Nick. Mr. Hamilton sadly has a heart condition that requires frequent care. Due to the sudden loss of his son, Mr. Hamilton had to drain his accounts to cover the costs of funeral expenses. Those accounts he had were to cover his living and all current and future medical expenses. The goal amount will help cover the unexpected funeral expenses and Mr. Hamilton's medical bills. Any excess donations will be placed into a trust account for Nick's daughter Zoey, Mr. Hamilton's granddaughter, who is only 9 years old. We don't know how much more time Mr. Hamilton will have left, but if we come together as a community we can make sure he can mourn the loss of his son and not have to choose between paying his utilities/bills or his next doctor visit.
