Unexpected Loss In The Tellez Family

It is with our heavy hearts we are forced to say goodbye to a great father, husband, brother, and friend to many, Jose Domingo Tellez.
Covid reached our home on Christmas eve. We all got super sick and we feared for our parents. We were getting better except our father who decided to go to the hospital on January 5th. On the 11th, a day after his 56th birthday, we got a call from ICU to come in quickly and say our goodbyes. Our father fought to stay with us, but his fight came to an end on the 16th, due to Covid. We saw this happening around the world to other families, but never in our wildest dreams did we think it could happen to us. Covid took from us someone special, he was our rock. We take solace in knowing that he is finally resting in peace, and no longer suffering from this virus.
Our father touched many lives and he will be greatly missed. This page was created for those who would like to donate and help us give our dad the memorial he deserves to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.

Es con nuestro corazón roto que nos vemos obligados a despedirnos de un gran padre, esposo, hermano y amigo de muchos, José Domingo Téllez.
Covid llegó a nuestra casa en Navidad. Todos nos enfermamos mucho y temíamos por nuestros padres. Estábamos mejorando, pero nuestro padre seguio enfermo y decidió ir al hospital el 5 de enero. El día 11, un día después de su 56 cumpleaños, recibimos una llamada de la ICU para que viniéramos rápidamente y nos despidiéramos. Nuestro padre luchó para quedarse con nosotros, pero su pelea llegó a su fin el día 16, debido a Covid. Vimos que esto le sucedía a otras familias en todo el mundo, pero nunca pensamos que nos podría pasar a nosotros. Covid nos quitó a alguien especial, era nuestro pilar. Nos consuela saber que finalmente está descansando en paz y que ya no sufre de este virus.
