Unexpected Passing of Tera Elizabeth King

An unexpected tragedy struck the King and Dena families on Tuesday morning, February 21.

Tera Elizabeth King's unimaginable loss came as an immense shock to all that loved her.

It states in Ecclesiastes 9:11 “...that the swift do not always win the race, nor do the mighty win the battle because time and unexpected events overtake them all.” With this, we are reminded that we do not know what’s going to happen, that only time will tell. God also advises us in Isaiah 41:10 to “not be afraid or anxious, for he is with us and will help us.” We are reeling from this tragedy, but Psalms 34:18 emphasizes that “God is close to the broken-hearted.” He understands what we are going through. “He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” We know that even though this unexpected loss of Tera was a shock to all, God is here to guide us through the heartache.

On behalf of her mother, Arica Dena, and grandmother, Diana Sepeda, we are looking to help ease the large financial burden of Tera's final expenses. The days ahead are bound to be challenging and overwhelming. By doing what we can to ease day-to-day burdens, we’ll be providing the family time to focus on healing.
