Unexpected Transmission Failure & many other $$

I am very embarrassed. I had a healthy emergency fun and savings for these type of expenses. As many of you know, I have been traveling in my RV (named Sadie) job to job seasonally for 15 years. This past fall, winter & spring the RV gods (&life) gathered up on me, causing many emergency repairs on Sadie & life threw in a couple of expensive experiences also.

With no warning/symptoms, the transmission failed on Sadie in March. I had to turn down 2 other jobs because I couldn't roll.

The stress took over me. I was 55 miles to the nearest town & was working with Geico to tow me. The stress & anxiety and my physical and mental health problems ( blown disks, Siatica in both legs, severe depression and massive anxiety disorder) resulted in a ambulance ride & 10 day hospital stay.

The Camron Parrish Sheriff decided to enforce a 72 hr rule & claimed I abandoned both Sadie and my van. One of many laws that are not posted. My vehicles were towed to an impound lot for 12 days without my knowledge.

When I was discharged, I was hit over the head with $5 grand ➕️ for towing and storage fees. The company & I negotiated the fee down to $1,700. I needed to borrow this $$ from the best person ever and another great person kicked in a loan of $600 for other expenses.

Sadie & the van were released from prison and I am now safe in a local RV park. I have 2 estimates- $7,800 and $6,500. These estimates came from the only two transmission shops in town. I also made a contact that said he could fix Sadie on my site....but I have been able to successfully contact him recently.

As I sit, I have used all of my emergency funds, drained savings and most of what was in checking ...and many credit cards. I am seriously broke.

I do not know exactly what to do to get out of this mess without help. I can work, however it would take a very long time to save enough $.

I am lucky that the dogs and I are safe, not hungry and have AC in a Southern Louisiana summer.

If there is anything you can do to help me out of this hole I would be eternally grateful and will find out how I can pass this miracle on.
