Fundraiser for charity for Darren Melbourne

My beloved husband DARREN JAMES MELBOURNE passed away suddenly at his workplace in the evening of 12 March 2024. He was aged only 34. He was my loving husband, best friend, travel companion and partner in life.

He was also a loving son, brother, cousin, uncle, grandson, nephew and friend. Everybody who knew him, knew his generous nature, his cheeky sense of humour, his love of life. The sudden and inexplicable loss of Darren is devastating for us all.

In conjunction with the GOLD PARTY, a memorial event celebrating Darren's life, I am raising funds which will go to the appropriate charity.

I was recently advised by the coroner that Darren's death was most likely due to an unexplained cardiac arrest.

EndUCD aims to end the heartache of Unexplained Cardiac Death (UCD) through research to find screening tests to identify people at risk before an arrest occurs and to develop preventative treatments. EndUCD raises awareness of UCD and advocates for funding for research to end UCD under age 50.

Darren, what happened to you was not fair. And this cannot be allowed to happen to anyone.
