Unforeseen expenses-Rebuild on home

On April 16, 2023, Bob and Penny Arant's home was badly damaged as a car had landed in the second story of their home. The person that was driving was severely injured and multiple public safety agencies were called out to help with the rescue of that person as well as removing the vehicle from the home.

It is estimated that the home will need substantial repairs that are likely to cost in the hundreds of thousands. The Arant's contacted their homeowners insurance agency AAA only to be told that they didn't have coverage for an automobile landing in their home. The driver's insurance will be responsible but it is unlikely that their coverage will be enough to cover that huge property damage. The home is now uninhabitable and will take an estimated 12 to 14 months at a minimum to repair / rebuild.
