Unforeseen Medical Issues Causing Hardship

This picture was taken on Thanksgiving this year.  In the weeks following my family's life has changed dramatically. My father has become increasingly sick.  At this point there is still no diagnosis but due to his extreme fatigue and other symptoms he is bedridden at Albany VA Hospital while doctors are working on a diagnosis. The true blessing is that his medical care is covered by the hospital.  However my father, and his wife Nancy, have had to close their restaurant while he is awaiting diagnosis and treatment. They have zero income coming in at this point and we have no idea how long he will be sick.   My hope is that we can come together as a community and support them.  Watching  hard-working ski bum  become  bedridden  has been extremely stressful  and scary.  The stress of the finances only compound that. It is humbling, I have contributed to many Go Fund Me accounts but I never thought I would be creating one of my own. Life can change so quickly. Pause and be grateful for the health of your loved ones, life is precious.  Sending love and light to anyone who reads this regardless of whether or not you can contribute.
