Mike Miller Recovery Fund

Dear RMO Community,
We're raising funds for our friend, hard-working ski tech, and phenomenal employee, Mike Miller. In early February, Mike Miller suffered a traumatic leg injury while skijoring (a race where skiers are pulled behind a horse) in Whitefish.
The injury occurred when he caught an edge on his skis while traveling around 30 miles per hour behind his horse. He was thrown to the ground and carried another 20 feet on momentum alone. The crash fractured his tibia, fibula, and femur; tore his meniscus, ACL, MCL, and PCL; and dislocated his patella twice.
Needless to say, this is such a sad circumstance. Mike is a passionate, caring, and encouraging human who puts his whole heart into everything he does. He loves skiing and horses, and skijoring is the perfect marriage of those two things. Here at RMO, we are all inspired by his desire to get after it and live every day to the fullest. And for all of you who trust your gear with our shop team, Mike has likely played a hand in making sure your gear is handled with excellence.
Needless to say, Mike isn't going to be at work for a while, and it will likely be even longer before he can race again. There are significant medical expenses associated with this accident including a high insurance deductible, multiple months of missing pay, and other ancillary costs.
In this period of recovery, we want financial strain to be the furthest thing from Mike's mind. So, we're asking all of you–our amazing community–to consider how you could support Mike and his wife Pam, who also works at the shop, financially during this time. No amount is too small and every dollar counts.
With the support of this community, we're certain Mike will be back and better than ever in no time.
Thank you so much,
