The public park is no place to live
Donation protected
Hello, on April 21, I met a 70 year old woman who was living in her car at a public park in Madison, WI. What drew me to the situation is that she did not have room in the car for her two cats. They were in travel crates next to the car. I am working to get this woman and her cats more stable, connected to housing and veterinary services. She gets a little money monthly but it only pays for about 10 days in a hotel, and then she is back out on the street. Her car is in very bad condition and she insists on towing it when she has to move somewhere. I am not planning to give her any of the money directly, just to help with hotel stays, some clothing, and vet care for the cats.
