Uniting Hearts for Our Brother Bernardo JR

On December 21, 2018, Bernardo Barco Jr. got into a terrible motorcycle accident on interstate highway 5 (I-5) in Washington State. Unfortunately, during the accident, he lost his right arm and left leg. He also suffered other multiple injuries, such as severe damage to his digestive organs. After several surgeries, he has miraculously been making a positive recovery. He still remains in critical condition at the intensive care unit at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. It remains certain that Bernardo’s path to recovery will be long and arduous. He will need a lot of financial and emotional support.

Since he will be unable to work and provide for his family during the uncertain time of his recovery, we ask of you to please help him and his family through this incredibly difficult emotional and financial situation. Any financial stress we can relieve through this campaign will allow his family to focus their attention on Bernardo’s recovery and healing process.

Donations will go towards healthcare and rehabilitation expenses. As well as monthly expenses (rent, food, utility bills, etc.) that are needed to support his family during his long recovery.  Bryan Barco Fabela, Bernardo's son will be in charge of managing your kindly donations. 

Bernardo is a hard worker and he loves what he does. He sees his job as a service to others, as he usually called it. He has many talents. He has always been willing to help others, as well to support his family and community. He has always had a strong commitment to serving God by helping others. He is a very active person with a good sense of humor and has an optimistic view on life. His wife strongly believes that God is acting on his recovery. She states “God doesn’t do incomplete miracles.” She believes that his survival was God’s miracle and God will be healing him and when he is recovered he’ll stand up to give glory to God.
