Unifor 30th Anniversary Toy Drive

This is the 30th anniversary hosting our toy drive, to date we have gathered over $170,000.00 in monetary donations and new/slightly used toys. In 1994 members of Local 103 found themselves on a picket line. LIPI (Low Income People Involvement of Nipissing) came out to support our members to ensure their children had gifts under their trees on Christmas morning. Since then, we have made it our mission to continue to show our gratitude and help others in the community who are faced with the same challenges that we faced 30 years ago.

We are looking to make this year the best yet. We ask for the members of Local 103 along with their employers, management, friends and family to rally and help.

We are collecting donations from now until December 4. I will be coming to the workplace to gather donations that day and be meeting with LIPI on the 5th to deliver all that is collected.

When we all work together, we can do incredible, great things. There is no doubt in my mind that this will be a wonderful holiday season for many, many families due the generosity of others.
