And we have done it! We successfully competed with more than 300 teams from NJ to emerge as one of the only 2 teams to represent New Jersey, US at the World Robotics  Festival to be held in Detroit , Michigan in April 2018. https://www.firstchampionship.org/detroit-home).
At World Festival, we will be competing with 64 US teams and 44 teams from around the globe.
We are very excited to take our small 3 team member team and put up a good show at the festival!
.
Who are we?
We are hustlers! We are 3 kids -Amogh Joshi, Saumit Kale and Jay Nadkarni, 7th and 8th graders from south Brunswick NJ.
A classical singer, a math fanatic , a sub 10 Rubiks cube record holder, basketball players, band and orchestra musicians, Boy scout , A grade students and of course FIRST LEGO LEAGUERS from Princeton NJ, we have covered it all!

Why are We Raising Money?

So let us tell you a bit about this years FLL competetion-
The competition includes completing a robot game, a research project based on hydrodynamics (improve way people find, transport, use or dispose water) and core values challenge to assess teamwork.
We worked extremely hard to envision an innovative solution to world water problems in our research project and also designed and created a robot to complete the robot challenge. Through our journey so far at the regional and state championship, we have the following notable accomplishments:
- Awarded the 1st project award at the regional competition
- Excelled across all 3 categories at the NJ state competition
-won the Championship Award (1 out of 2 teams across 300 to represent NJ at world festival).

Our project - SMART integrated system for homes, hotels and hospitals, that finds, reuses, transports and disposes water . We have called it Uniflow

We are an independent team that is not funded by PTO or school and hence the outreach for fundraising.

The funds you donate will be used

-Entry cost to the World competition ($1000).
-To Build /Implement a prototype of our project ,
-To transport our robot as well as our project model from NJ to detroit michigan.
-To cover substantial costs of travel, lodging, food at the festival.

We estimate the total cost somewhere close to $15,000.
Our supportive families are pitching in considerable amounts of funds but with this large cost tag it would be difficult to meet all our requirements without your help.
We are also looking for Corporate sponsorships so please put us in touch with anyone who can help with that effort.
Thank you all for your generous help!  It is greatly appreciated!
