Union Southampton Dance

Hello, we are Union Southampton Dance (USD) society here at the university of Southampton. USD is made up of 10 wonderful societies and is a home away from home to over 565 dancers. USD is more than just a society, it is the catalyst of great successes for all our dancers, for all it has been the highlight of their university experience. It is for this reason alongside Southampton Dance Competition, our annual show ‘Pure Dance’, and our competition season successes that we were awarded ‘Society of the Year’ in 2024.

Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, we have lost a seizable portion of our funding. Which left us in a vulnerable situation for the current and upcoming academic year, so we are determined to subsidise these losses through fundraising.
