Unite in Support: Honoring Saleem, a kindhearted father

Many of you are already aware about the tragic news of Friday night Milton crash.

Our friend Muhammad Saleem was critically injured in this crash. He was rushed to the hospital where he went through a heartbreaking struggle with flickering hope of a miracle to happen, and ultimately succumbed to the harsh reality of fate.

Saleem we know for years was a true gentle soul; a caring husband, a loving father, a respectful son, a kind brother and a cheerful friend. He was always at the center of every activity uplifting enthusiasm and energy of everyone around. Our time together with Saleem, our shared memories will never be forgotten. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled and he will be greatly missed.

Saleem left behind a very young family with his wife and three university/school going kids. Saleem was the sole bread runner for the family and his tragic demise has left his family in a financially vulnerable situation. In this moment of extreme grief, his family needs both moral and financial support because the requirements of life doesn't cease with someone's demise.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and kids during this difficult time. This fund raising effort is come strong as a community and make contribution to ease some burdens of the suffering family. Kindly support if you wish to make moral, financial contribution for the family.

My name is Farhan Nadeem and I am a family friend of Saleem's family. Our family has a close relation with Saleem's family from 2008 when we both immigrated to Canada. This fundraiser is for Saleem's family members including his wife Shumaila Saleem, his sons Abdurrehman Saleem, Abdullah Saleem and his daughter Mahnoor Saleem. Saleem's elder son is currently in Computer Engineering program at TMU in 3rd year. His younger son is currently in Grade 12 and will join university next year. Saleem's daughter is currently in grade 8. Funds collected will be used for Saleem's family home expenses, his kids education and other expenses family will have to deal with while going through this catastrophic life change. Funds collected will be transferred to Saleem's wife (Shumaila Saleem) bank account.
