Unite the Fight for LGBTQ charities
It's not every day this guy puts on a wig, 10 pounds of make-up, six-inch heels and lip-synchs for his life in front of hundreds of people -- but that day is quickly approaching and I need a little help from you in order to make a BIG difference in the lives of others.
In honor of my late mother who passed away after a short but strong fight against a devastating form of brain cancer this past January -- a woman who dedicated her life to helping those in need -- I'm stepping up to hopefully make a difference, too.
On September 29th, I'm competing as one of six drag queens (yeah - this will be interesting) at the 2018 Unite the Fight Gala taking place from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Hilton in downtown Austin.
The purpose of this gala is to raise critical funds for The Equality Alliance, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit that provides support and financial aid to organizations that fight for equality and basic human rights for the LGBTQ community every..single...day.
This year's beneficiaries include some extraordinary organizations:
- Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce
- Equality Texas
- The Kind Clinic
- Out Youth
- Transgender Education Network of Texas
There are multiple ways you can lend a hand to help me achieve my fundraising goal:
1.) By buying tickets to the gala under Team Patrick at www.unitethefightgala.com
2.) By making a donation here.
3.) By donating an item for the gala's silent auction (contact me at [email redacted] for more details)
Proceeds from this year’s gala will be evenly distributed to five very deserving LGBTQ charities that heavily rely on donations in order to do the good work they do 365 days a year.
The Equality Alliance is a 501 (c) 3 and all donations are tax deductible.
Thanks for helping me make a positive impact on the lives of a beautifully diverse community that I couldn't be more thankful to have on my side.
Much love,
Patrick
