United American Indians of New England Fall 2022
Donation protected
Please support the work of United American Indians of New England (UAINE) as we educate and decolonize. We are best known for organizing National Day of Mourning in Plymouth every "thanksgiving Thursday," and 2022 will be our 53nd year! We lead IndigenousPeoplesdayMA.org campaigns and provide tactical and strategic advice to people in the region who are working on Indigenous Peoples Day efforts.
We are also an intrinsic part of efforts in MA to pass legislation meaningful to Indigenous people (MAIndigenousAgenda.org). We educate about many Indigenous issues, including through our Indigenous Liberation Series of webinars, and raise awareness about many Indigenous issues such as #landback, #MMIWG2SR and residential schools. We work with others in coalition to organize and support Indigenous Peoples Day events. In addition, we support many other Indigenous and progressive struggles, from climate justice to justice for migrants to Black liberation, and much more!
This campaign is posted by UAINE. The funds will go to support National Day of Mourning, expenses for Indigenous Peoples Day campaigns and events, efforts to support legislation, and the many other activities that we undertake during the course of the year. We are an all-volunteer organization, but we have increasing costs associated with all of the areas of work that we are engaged in. Thank you.
(If you wish to make a large or tax-deductible donation via a donor-advised charitable fund, please contact us for information about how to donate through our fiscal sponsor. Thank you!)
