United Anglers of Casa Grande Fundraiser

Dear Community,

My name is Camille Stinson, and I am the 2024 Hatchery Student President.

Casa Grande High School is incredibly unique in that it offers a special program called the United Anglers of Casa Grande. This class is incredibly near and dear to my heart as it put me on the path towards my dream career in environmental conservation. It brought me closer to my peers and made me feel like I was actually part of something bigger that made a difference. This program is also vitally important to our local community. We here at UACG are trying to save a local species: the Adobe Creek Steelhead Trout. With out recently granted Rescue Rearing Management Program permit, we are now able to rescue and hold Adobe Creek Steelhead in our building. This permit allows us to go even further in our conservation efforts, along with what we are already doing, such as cleaning up the creeks and educating the public.

This is why the fundraiser is necessary.

On the first Saturday of November (this year the fundraiser is November 4th) we host a massive fundraiser to raise the majority of our funds we need to run our Hatchery. There will be pasta, a silent auction, a cake auction, and more!

The funds from this GoFundMe will go directly to the Hatchery and the continuation of the program. By donating, you are helping save the Adobe Creek Steelhead Trout and our local rivers and creeks.
