United States Capitol Police Paul Snider

I am starting this GoFundMe because my husband Paul Snider was diagnosed with Covid-19 in August. He has since been on a ventilator due to the damage the Covid-19 has caused to his organs. Covid has caused Paul to fight double pneumonia and infection that the ventilator has caused, and will possibly need both lungs to be replaced. For the past two months Paul has been in a medically induced coma to allow his body a fighting chance to fight infections and to manage pain. He has undergone a tracheotomy and uses a feeding tube. In the early stages the doctors told me that my husband will not make it through this. We are now going into the second month and Paul is still with us. He is still trying to come back to us, but remains in serious condition. So as we wait for Paul to awaken he will continue dialysis everyday and use a ventilator through his trachea. He is such a good loving husband, father and policeman. Our children whom are eight, six and two are all waiting for their father to come home.

 

He is the kind of person you meet once and you know that he would be a great friend. He is the most caring, loyal and thoughtful person I have ever met. Paul worked hard to provide for all of our needs while I care for our three children. Your donations will help aide us with growing hospital debts and the necessities for our children. I want Paul to focus on his recovery and not worry about how he will provide for his family.
