Uniting for Cause

On Friday night, June 30th, Frank Hardcastle was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. While riding his motorcycle on rural route 251 North of Darien a wild boar ran in front of him. Unable to avoid the animal, Frank struck it and was thrown from his motorcycle sustaining serious injuries. Due to the extent of his injuries, he was air-lifted to Savannah Memorial Hospital trauma center and is currently in critical condition.

Frank is a husband to Tina and the father to 5 adult children. Frank is the definition of a "good person." He was a 28-year veteran at the Muskogee Police Department and retired at the rank of Captain. Frank was also a medic and a driving instructor for his agency. He eventually received a position as a driving instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), in Artesia, New Mexico. Frank eventually transferred to Glynco, GA FLETC facility and thoroughly enjoys being here. He loves nothing more than teaching to new basic police recruits. He is extremely passionate about motorcycle riding and enjoys every minute with his grandchildren.

Anyone who ever met Frank had the same feeling about him. You always found yourself saying, "Man, what a good guy Frank is and boy he can drive fast.” Given his occupation as an instructor, Frank also found himself competitive with his fellow instructors. Frank takes great pride in his profession and offers his experience and compassion to the next generation of law enforcement professionals. His expertise, passion and kind-heartedness has made a huge impact on thousands of recruits, and he truly cares about his students.

We are creating this fundraiser to help Tina and the rest of her family during this unforeseen and critical time. No family is prepared for a situation like this. For this reason, we (his friends and colleagues) have created this to lessen the financial burden that comes with a sudden emergency of a family member.
