University of Arizona Competitive Cheer Team

The University of Arizona Competition Cheerleading Team is a student-run organization in Tucson, Arizona. As a team, we compete at a variety of competitions including USA Nationals, NCA Nationals, and the College Classic. This February 2023, our team earned a National Championship in the Small Coed Intermediate division as well as 3rd in the advanced all-girl stunt group division at USA Nationals.

Beyond the above competitions, a season for our program includes traveling to NCA camp in August to build our strength and bond as a team, traveling to USA Nationals and NCA Nationals, and participating in many philanthropic events in the Tucson area including volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House. The team is also a part of University-affiliated spirit events and practices as a team up to six times a week!

To travel to the competitions, including our primary goal of attending NCA Nationals, we must fundraise to cover all the costs. The expenses for Nationals include airfare to Florida, lodging, and registration for the athletes. We cannot wait to show off all our hard work and continue making history for our program!
