UNLICENSED DRIVER RAN STOP SIGN KILLING FENGANYAN

On Saturday afternoon, 8/27/22, Chinatown lost an amazing person due to a reckless and unlicensed motorist. Fengan Yan, aged 55, was bicycling on Armour Square road, next to Ricobene’s and was struck by a 60yo woman who ran a stop sign. She was also unlicensed and should not have been driving.

Yan was an admirable person in the neighborhood, always helping others and keeping an eye out for safety. He truly would take the shirt off his own back to give to someone in need. His family knows little English and doesn’t know how to navigate the internet but we’ve come together as a community to help them set up this go fund me account for their time of grieving. Please donate whatever you can to help them lay Mr. Yan to rest.
