Talk Ourselves Well presents UNMUTE the Sequel

Hi, my names Si Donnelly and I'm the founder of TALK Ourselves WELL.

Talk Ourselves Well is hosting an musical fundraising event called UNMUTE, which is aimed at Breaking Silence for Suicide Prevention

Our next event will be held Saturday 25th March 2023 at Sunbird Records and Number 39 Bar in Darwen, Lancashire.

Our first event was just the start of our UNMUTE campaign in which we aim to engage people through music and creative arts to promote healthy conversations around Mental Health and Wellbeing.

Talk Ourselves Well have just celebrated our first year of success with a project called Man Support Collective in which we have engaged 1050 males through walking, talking, listening, supporting, outdoor activities, ultra marathon challenges and our weekly sessions which are held outdoor in a local park where we have a Campfire and Canopy, where people can sit and relax whilst talking themselves well. We also commit to community work within the park do that others can enjoy the space too.

UNMUTE is our way of saying let's make some noise for Suicide Prevention and allowing people to talk openly and freely about the life challenges and experiences that we may encounter along our life journeys.

Darwen has experienced significant numbers of avoidable male deaths through suicide in recent years and Suicide Prevention is something that is close to our hearts.

We are raising funds for this vital organisation to ensure the continued running of our sessions and our upcoming event UNMUTE, which will be a memorable event and celebration of the valuable work Talk Ourselves Well is achieving.

We don't currently receive funding so every penny raised counts.

The funds will be used for equipment hire, printing, video creation, advertising and marketing to create a successful event.
