UNT HELPS MUSIC HELPS

Music Helps is a nonprofit that aids individuals in healing the trauma they have experienced through the help of music. This is done by nurturing individuals in a safe space through creating learning environments like drum or ukulele workshops to express themselves creatively through the use of music as the prominent tool. Through workshops tailored for children dealing with trauma, they are sowing seeds of healing and resilient spirits.

After communicating closely with the amazing team at Music Helps and in our pursuit of spreading the generous healing spirit, we here at UNT HELPS MUSIC HELPS are thrilled to announce our collaboration with local artists, bands, and YOU! Together, we are enhancing our impact by trying to raise $600. Each drum and ukulele workshop costs about $500 to $600 to successfully run so it may go towards funding that and/or towards new electric guitars for the children. With your support we have the opportunity to uplift even more hearts and minds. So whether you’re grooving to the music at our shows or discovering our core values through the local artists, you will be a part of the generous community that continues to contribute to the spreading of joy and the healing that music brings to those who need it most.
