UNT Students Support Genesis Women's Shelter & DFW Families

Tax deductible
Hello! We are three students from the University of North Texas studying social entrepreneurship, and we are thrilled to announce our campaign to raise money for Genesis Women’s Shelter in Dallas, Texas.

This cause is important to us because we believe every woman and child deserves the chance to realize their full potential in a safe environment which allows them to flourish. Every day, women fight for their safety and security and that of their children in complex domestic situations that are often very hard to leave without proper support. We would be honored if you could join us in supporting Genesis Women’s Shelter, where hope and healing begin for so many families.

Our goal is to raise $800 by the beginning of May to help provide critical services like housing, legal support, and emotional care for those in need of a fresh start. Each dollar raised will directly support Genesis’s mission to rebuild lives and unlock the potential of women and children seeking safety and healing. Through our donations, we can help give people tools and resources they need to evolve, grow, and thrive in a safer, brighter future.

Donations, no matter how big or small, help to provide everything from essential toiletries and household items to rent assistance and therapy costs. Donations provide essential clothing, support legal costs and help fund emergency housing. Most importantly, these donations can help provide the agency and autonomy people need to live fulfilled lives free of violence.

Join us in making a difference! Let’s create a community where everyone has the chance to live a meaningful life free from fear.

We're excited to exceed our goal before finals in May! Help us reach our goal by donating today!
