Until we meet again, Daddy, Lindsey K Schmitt

Dear friends and family,
My name is Shanntel Lindsey Schmitt. It is with extreme sadness and shock, that we announce the unbearable news of the sudden passing of our beloved father and patriarch Lindsey Kynaston Schmitt, on Thursday, October 17, 2024 in Kauai, Hawaii. He was only 66 years young, and still full of life. My father was born in Oahu, Hawaii on November 11, 1957. He leaves behind a bereaved family composed of a daughter, two sons, four grandchildren and his surviving siblings. He was a kind, loving, and selfless person who touched the lives of everyone he met. He always made everyone laugh with his funny jokes and still had so much love to share wherever he went. My father was a jovial man, who loved to laugh and make others laugh. My father was a man who instilled the value of Ohana (family) into his children. His untimely departure has left us in deep sorrow, and we are struggling to come to terms with this immense loss.
Considering my father's death was unforseen, we were not financially prepared for these expenses surrounding his death. The funds raised will help us cover all funeral expenses, administrative processing, and other related costs that come with the death of a loved one. The viewing will take place in Kauai Hawaii, where he lived.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and will help us give him the farewell he deserves. We ask for a final opportunity to see him, hold him and kiss him one last time before he is put to rest. My two brothers, myself and our children did not have the opportunity to say good-bye to our father and we are all devastated. Regretfully, I had not been home to Hawaii in 5 years, and that was the last time that I saw, held, hugged, kissed my father in person. This is a tremendous loss for those he left behind to cherish his memory. Please consider sharing the link to my GoFundMe to your friends and family through social media/text/email in attempt for my family to reach more people
