Untimely Death of my Mother Mary Ann Jones/Chavers

On the afternoon of May 1, 2019, my mother Mary (Also known as Dionne) suffered a cardiac arrest. It is unknown what she was doing at the time, (I believe walking home) but she was found unresponsive by an innocent bystander on the street. The first responders arrived and were able to revive her and get her to the hospital but no one knows how long she had been there. She was on life support for a short time (A little under a week) before the doctors told the family there was nothing else they could do. My mother suffered an anoxic brain injury from lack of oxygen to the brain after passing out from the cardiac arrest. She fought hard, but God called her home and she passed away on May 14, 2019. WE LOVE AND MISS YOU DEARLY MOM! 

The last two weeks has been very trying and stressful for the family. We had to make some very tough decisions and we came together and stayed strong for each other. But we didn't do it alone. Thank you to the hospital staff at Little Company of Mary and Christ in Chicago and also everyone who called, text, visited, prayed, left messages on social media, sent cards, flowers, brought meals, gave hugs, the whole nine. We appreciate you!

Even though my mom had a small life insurance policy, we are asking for donations because everything is not covered and we want to honor my Mother by having a memorial very soon. Please donate if you can.
