Untimely death of my son's dog ZERO
Donation protected
Hi friends WARDO here, with a very special request coming from my heart to yours. This past weekend my son was forced to put his beloved English bulldog Zero down after he had a series of violent seizures during the previous week. We are not sure what led on to the week-long event, but what I personally witnessed with my own eyes was extremely tragic and heart-breaking.
On his last day alive, I had to babysit him, comfort him and massage him during his tremors as well as turn him on his side and introduce lime juice to his mouth so he would not choke to death on his own phlegm. This was a real eye-opener for me, something that I have never had to go through before. It was a tearful event, as I knew there was not much we could do for him. Subsequently, the tough decision was made to put Zero down. The medical expenses and cremation costs came in right around $800. Although it does not seem like much, it has left a financial burden on my son's doorstep.
This is the same week our condo was broken into with a back sliding door shattered leaving a $450 burden that still has not been fixed (dealing with homeowner at present) and some costly car repair expenses of my own (ruptured oil line) where I nearly blew my car up.
I have never asked anyone for a single dime ever, it's just not my style. We will deal with the other problems as best we can. However, my son Justin could really use your help.
If we could summon just 160 of my kind-hearted friends to donate $5 towards helping Justin with final vet expenses, it would mean the world to not only him, but me. I've never had to do anything like this before, but this time I really am pleading for your help! Please show my son that there is still faith in our community? I beg for your help at a very difficult time. NFA and AIKO my dear friends.
