URGENT: Help Hala’s family to evacuate from Ga~za

Hi world, this is Hala

Please read this as If I were a member of your family, maybe your sister, your daughter or a friend, and as If my family who’s under death now were your family.

This is Hala Abu Hamda, I’m 16 years old girl, a Palestinian artist, programmer, a writer, and a fresh Winner of the World Robot Olympiad competition “ WRO Panama “, I won first place in the Gaza Strip and second place in Palestine. We were going to travel to Panama to participate in the international competition, but this didn’t happen...

Now I’m a 16yo girl, who lost her dreams and hope for a better future, and lost my whole hard work and studying for 6 years, I was always trying to do the best to give my poor family a better life... and everything is gone and end now.

Since the beginning of the war on Gaza on October 7, I have been living in my house in the Beach camp, where the explosions began.

We were displaced inside Gaza 4 or 5 times, just to save our lives. We did not have food or drinking water. My father does not work, and he does not have the money to buy anything for us.

Everything was very high and expensive!! To fill drinking water, it takes $40, and we do not have sums like that...

Me, my father, and my mother were on the verge of death because they bombed a building in front of us at the end of this street that you see without any warning. We were going to leave my 13-year-old sister alone sleeping in the tent and alone in this world.

After a night full of terror and bombing alongside us, we were forced to flee south to Rafah, “thinking that we would be safe there and find what we needed,” but no.

Of course you know what we are going through in Rafah now. We are living in a tent, without any signifcant aid to reach us, without any security, and in dire need of your help.

( This is our tent, and it was damaged but we don’t have any choice..., because we can not aford to buy a new tent, it costs $1,000, they are making it impossible to live here ! )

I thought about doing this campaign to help my family provide our daily needs, such as water, food, and clothes, and also keep some to evacuate from here if the crossings are opened!

Who will your donations go to, who will you help and who is my family?

• Hala Abu Hamda, age 16 (b. 2007 )

- A girl full of life, hope and the desire to learn and shine. She loves robots very much and dreams of being a robotics engineer in the future, a strong programmer, and supporting her family on her own.

• Mohab Abu Hamda “ Father “, age 45 (b.1978)

A very great father who loves his two daughters, and wants to do the impossible for them, but his current circumstances do not allow him to do that. He wishes to give them this entire world.

• Samaher Abu Hamda “Mother”, age 37 (b. 1987)

- The greatest mother in history, she was tired of educating her two daughters after she was deprived of education and married at the age of 14. She wanted to give her two daughters everything, and let them go out in this world, achieve their dreams, and always be the best.She gave all her health and life to them, and now she is sick and helpless, and there is only a solution and serenity to support her, but they are young.

• Safaa Abu Hamda, “ the youngest “, age 13 (b. 2010)

- A young girl, who loves her friends, her school, and always excelling. She dreams of traveling and having a YouTube channel on which she publishes what she loves and what she likes. She is afraid of bombing and death and does not want to lose her family as she lost everyone she loved.

Some information about my family's health condition :

Cartilage in the back, roughness and slippage in the vertebrae, ( yet he needs to support his family, work, and full water daily ) .

She sufers from high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, dry eyes, and nerve damage in her hands. ( However, she needs to provide food for her daughters, wash their clothes, and light a fire, and this is harmful to her health )

She is allergic to a lot of food, and cannot handle high temperatures, and atmosphere in the tent is sufocating and causing her to faint.

And this is How the money will be used:

- Each family member will be paid $6,000 so they can reach Egypt safely (3 adults and 1 kid “safaa $3,000”)

- Around $6,000 will go to cover the transaction of GoFundMe fees (2,9% , $0.30 per transaction)

- $150 will be spent daily to provide the family’s daily needs, including water, food, detergents, and personal items. ( This is throughout their stay in the Gaza Strip )

- Some of the amount will be kept to provide a good and simple life for the family when they arrive in Egypt for a certain period of time, such as having a house and food there and not being in need and so that Hala’s father can work, and Hala and Safaa can complete their studies.

After telling you this, I know that it is a very large sum, and I may not be able to collect it for a day in my life, and I know that this is difficult, but I believe in Allah, I trust in this world and in humanity, and I am here to ask you to take action!

Now that you know all this about us, can you help my family? Can you make my dream of me and my sister Safaa of returning to study come true?
