Tragically horrific Loss Of An Amazing Man

Tuesday May 25th, 2021 at 10:00pm the world lost someone absolutely incredible. He was a man that was very selfless. He never knew a stranger. He would’ve handed his shirt to whomever needed it and not asked questions. My children were robbed of such a perfect person. The acts of that night will replay over and over again in my head. The realization and reality isn’t something we can truly face and hit head on. The monsters that took someone who we all loved so dearly won’t ever truly know the damage they caused. The news has some how made it out to be an equal event. It however wasn’t. He had demanded they leave our property more than once and they didn’t. They went to the car to act as if they were leaving. Rather than leaving they climbed into the car and pulled out their gun. They chose wrong when doing so. Those shots ring in our heads. The sight of something so traumatizing will forever be burnt in. The smell, the feel, the emotions, and the sounds are something of a deadly mixture. That night our hearts became empty. In having had such a devastating event I have fears and numbnesses We never knew existed. Continue to think of our children. All 5 are having a hard time adjusting to such an awful world. Snuggle your loved ones close, because tomorrow could never come.
