UOW Nursing Students Return to Cambodia!

Donation protected
Participate. Learn. Impact: University of Wollongong Nursing Students returning to Cambodia in November 2022!

We are a team of 15 second-year Nursing Students heading to Cambodia to participate in a health care placement. We are collaborating with Nineteen Degrees, an organisation that partners inclusively and ethically with host communities, institutions and health centres throughout marginalised Asia. We will be supported and facilitated by a fantastic academic team from the university!

This overseas clinical placement will develop our clinical skills, as well as help us on our journey to becoming global citizens! Our time in Cambodia will be a fully immersive cultural learning experience. We will provide community lead, sustainable nursing care and education in local clinics, schools, and community groups.

We would love YOUR help in contributing! We intend to raise $5000 to donate to these clinics, supporting healthcare initiatives and outreach programmes in communities in and around Siem Reap. Your donations will go STRAIGHT to these communities where we will be purchasing medical supplies, medications and educational resources for the clinics and schools, spending your kind donations in country, and supporting the local economy!

Thank you!
