Up up and away with Karen 22nd May 2022

Hi am writing this on behalf of my amazing ( all but CRAZY ) mother - the one and only Karen Fulton ( was Eadsforth , was Mcnelly - very Indecisive ha )

I am sure most of you are already aware that she is the type of person/ friend that always goes that extra mile for everyone and anyone! throws herself into everything she does with such passion and commitment it beggars belief at times!

This time she is taking her love and commitment to help others even further – or should I say HIGHER !!! much HIGHER …

This crazy 63 year old lady – is taking on a wing walk ! Once airborne the display will last approximately 10 minutes as she stands on the wing of an authentic Boeing Stearman Biplane travelling at speeds of up to 135 mph- hopefully they will be providing her with the required Tena pads ! for the sake of us poor bystanders

why you ask … well as she wants to help raise funds for two things extremely close to her heart the charity Breast Cancer Now , which does fantastic work on research and providing specialist nurses that are desperately short in numbers in the UK , Breast Cancer Now is also campaigning for urgent change alongside those living with the disease to make sure the right support, treatment and care is available for those that need it the most – Cancer is a disease that effects all of us/ loved ones at some point in our lives and is literally life altering in so many ways – mum is desperate to help in any small way she can ! even if that means climbing on top of a moving plane to do so

The second recipient of her event will be- the 0ver 60’s women GB basketball team competing in the The European Maxibasketball Championship . This is the official championship organised by the International Maxibasketball Federation (FIMBA and is taking in place he city of Malaga that will be held from June 24 to July 3, 2022. a total of 234 teams from more than 40 different countries ! and the amazing group of ladies that are a flying the flag for us , do so solely unfunded and really do deserve our help support and utter admiration for all of their efforts and commitment to represent us all on the big stage !

So I am asking ..NO in fact am begging please dig deep and donate what you can , to support this amazing lady the way she always supports us in everything and everything we do ! she deserves nothing less than 100% from us all .

Her wing walk will take place Sunday 22nd may at Church Fenton , Yorkshire !
