Hi everyone

There was a horrible accident that occurred today in my neighborhood. Quad vs truck. Quad driver was riding extremely recklessly based on a eyewitness’s account and came around that corner running the stop sign, in the street, didn’t anticipate a vehicle being there, lost control hitting the truck, flying into the windshield and continuing on about 20 feet away where he landed face down on the street. It was scary and quite traumatic. The rider wasn’t wearing a helmet or any gear.

The driver of the truck is a young man (24 yo) who was coming to do some yard jobs in the neighborhood as he and his lil brother work every Sunday. He did everything right and was pretty shaken up.

We talked to the family of the quad rider and he is going to be ok. Thank god.

The truck owner is insured but it’s an old truck and we all know how that’s going to go.

This young man has 3 jobs to make his ends meet and now without a vehicle this will certainly be a hardship. This go fund me will go directly to help him get back into a car so he continue with his life.

We are all just thankful that everyone is ok. It could have had a very different outcome.
