Upgrades to our Masjid!

Assalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah!

 

Hull Mosque & Islamic Centre is going through a series of upgrades, which started with replacing boiler and heating system to bring it up to the current standards. Alhamdulillah this work has been completed. We now move on to the next phase, which is to carry out critical electrical works.

 

The main works will involve replacing the outdated fusebox and wiring. Not only is this work essential from a health and safety perspective, it will also make the Masjid more energy efficient, which in the long run will insha'Allah lead to savings on the Masjid's running costs.

 

With the steep rise in energy bills, it is essential for us to replace the old inefficient lights that exist throughout the Masjid. This will also be part of this phase or upgrades insha'Allah.

 

The works will also include the installation of emergency exit lighting to bring the Majid up to the standards required from a health and safety perspective.

 

All of this work will serve those who attend the Masjid on a daily basis and insha'Allah will be a sadaqah Jariayh for all those who contribute.

 

Sadaqah Jariyah is a gift that not only benefits others in this life but also benefits us and our loved ones in the next.

The works will begin on the 1st of February insha'Allah.
