UPenn Midwifery 2021 Graduation Ceremony
We are so excited to announce our graduation from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing’s Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwifery program this coming December. All ten of us have worked incredibly hard to get to this point, and we are thrilled to have reached this milestone despite the unique challenges of the last year. With the COVID-19 pandemic ravaging the country, we — along with our amazing faculty — have stretched our creative limitations to accomplish our goal of obtaining our master's degree.
We all chose to go into this field due to our passion for providing quality, empathetic, evidence-driven health care. We have been fortunate to have fantastic preceptors, teachers, and mentors along the way who have helped mold us into the midwives we are. We also would not have made it to this point without the ongoing support and encouragement from our family and friends. We would love to share our celebration with you, and are asking for your help in making it so special.
It is tradition that the midwifery students host their own graduation celebration in December, since the University holds commencement in May. Due to the virtual nature of the majority of our schooling, we have not been able to sufficiently fundraise, as classes before us have, to help make this graduation ceremony a reality. While we will be personally contributing to the event, we are also asking for donations to help fund the various aspects of the ceremony and the reception following it. We appreciate any contribution you can make.
